This Ring was made for a customer that was quite a unique person. She had thoughts and views which were controversial, unique and had an original thought process about her.

‘I made this with her partner, whilst i interviewed her and got to understand what made her tick and got her feelings and her DNA in this. She actually had no idea what was coming. not even the timing of the completed ring’

 

All Robert’s engagement rings are created in his studio, and sent around Australia and the world. He uses a mixture of both modern technology and traditional hand tools with bench jeweller techniques in his workshop. In most RYJ jewellery, you will see the word “love” within the design. This is hand cut by using a jeweller’s saw that pierces the gold or silver rings from one side to the other. Each “Love” is unique, because each love is unique. The time, care and skill that goes into each ring is all worth it for Robert knowing that his art has found the right owner and will become a life long treasure.”

Can’t buy me love

They said it couldn’t be done, its too hard they said. I’d never sell any they said. Why would you want to do that!

…….’because love is on the inside’ I said.

We sold the very first CAN’T BUY ME LOVE to a magical couple.

I just love it, I’m so honored when somebody buys one of my Sculptures that confirms their beliefs.

“Ever Fallen in Love”

silver love ringI was lucky enough to be given a ring by this amazingly talented Sydney jewellery designer. The non tarnish sterling silver love ring is called” Ever Fallen in Love” from Robert’s “Live with meaning” collection. The inside is inscribed with the affirmations ” Love, Peace, Truth & Beauty”. To say I was touched is an understatement. Having recently lost love myself, this ring felt like a talisman opening up a new vista of opportunity and hope. I am tempted to wear it on my ring finger to add to its power but will resist. It is said the universe abhors a vacuum so I have to leave that finger free to pull to me my heart’s desire.

The ring sits proudly on my middle finger, winking its promises to me as I type frantically on my laptop.
